A personalised approach to counselling therapy
Undertaking psychological therapy involves taking the time to address your specific concerns and needs. The process typically involves the following steps:
Once these initial steps are completed, a series of regular therapy appointments can be scheduled. These sessions provide an opportunity to delve into your experiences and gain a deeper understanding of them. Participating in therapy requires a capacity and interest to discuss in-depth experiences to better understand them.
The Therapy Journey is one of Exploration and Discovery, where issues that arise from one session to the next can be explored and discussed. It is a dynamic process that unfolds over time, allowing for a deeper understanding and insight into your experiences.
Engaging in therapy can be a mixture of reassurance and challenge (both reassuring and challenging- exploring both sides of the coin is an important part of the process). It provides a supportive environment where both the comforting and difficult aspects of your experiences can be explored. This balanced approach is crucial for personal growth and healing.
