A personalised approach to counselling therapy

Undertaking psychological therapy involves spending some time to:
  • Discuss and assess your concerns
  • Clarify your hopes and goals for participating in therapy
  • Discuss together the most helpful way to proceed
A series of regular appointments are then scheduled to proceed with the therapy, which require a capacity and interest to discuss experiences in depth with a view to understanding them better.

The therapy journey is one of exploration and discovery, where issues that arise from one session to the next can be explored and discussed.

Engaging in therapy can be both reassuring and challenging- exploring both sides of the coin is an important part of the process.
